Sharon is an absolutely wonderful and insightful life-coach that has transformed my life and behavior for the better, and who I would highly recommend. Each private session was a gateway to learning more about my inner self and the manner in which my thoughts and feelings can translate into being a more productive person in business, and a more understanding person in personal relationships. This has been a life-changing experience; I only wish I had known [of this] many years earlier.
The gift of Sharon came at the right time, and was the right life experience. Going through a divorce with my nine year old daughter felt like life had turned against us with a vengeance. Sharon showed us that self-forgiveness, soulful nourishment, and unconditional self-love prohibited the ego from succeeding to destroy the two of us. She guided us to inner peace, which opened up a mother-daughter relationship filled with understanding and profound connection, which we learn from and enjoy every day. This is now our positive reality, our shared truth.

The Enneagram is a recently popularized typology system that is moving into the mainstream in personal growth, therapy, spirituality, education and business. In Greek, “ennea” means nine and “gram” means point. The word “Enneagram” refers to a circle showing nine points which is used as a symbol to arrange and depict nine personality styles. What is amazing is that these styles are seen in every culture around the world, no matter the race, age, gender, religion or economic conditions. A person in the rural farmlands of China will have one of the nine types, as will a Wall Street executive. It is fascinating and insightful!
Everyone emerges from childhood with one of the nine types dominating their personality, with inborn temperament and other pre-natal factors being the main determinants of our type. This is one area where most all of the major Enneagram authors agree—we are born with a dominant type. Subsequently, this inborn orientation largely determines the ways in which we learn to adapt to our early childhood environment. It also seems to lead to certain unconscious orientations toward our parental figures, but why this is so, we still do not know. In any case, by the time children are four or five years old, their consciousness has developed sufficiently to have a separate sense of self. Although their identity is still very fluid, at this age children begin to establish themselves and find ways of fitting into the world on their own.
As we continue to grow into young adults and adults, many of the strategies and motivations we develop to cope with our environment are still in play. If they are unhealthy, they can appear as repeat patterns, such as the inability to hold a job or relationship, anger, poor money habits, and health issues. The common thread is how good is your ability to communicate your wants and needs to others.
The Enneagram is likened to a roadmap; it can be used to reveal the unconscious strategies and motivations that drive how you show up in the world. Once you are aware of the behaviors your Enneatype structure takes on when in an unhealthy “repeat” pattern, you can make a choice. You can choose to respond differently, thereby getting a better result. Once you have started to replace the old pattern of thinking, acting and reacting with a new, healthier one, your life will change drastically.
The essence of any personal growth work is based on “Knowing Thyself”. The Enneagram provides you with an accurate and uncanny view into your subconscious, revealing why you do the things you do. This knowledge is a power booster to how you communicate and connect with yourself and others to bring a better life to you and those around you.
